No. We do not sell student data, and we do not use student data for targeted advertising. We design our practices to support schools’ privacy obligations under laws such as FERPA and COPPA, and we apply GDPR-related protections where applicable.
Does AulaViva help with grading?
Yes. AulaViva automatically grades objective questions and supports rubric-based feedback for open-ended responses, helping teachers return feedback faster and monitor student progress. AI-assisted grading and feedback features are designed to support educators, and final academic decisions remain under educator control.

Who controls student data when a school uses AulaViva?
When AulaViva is used by or through a school, district, or educator, the school or district remains responsible for determining how student data is used and managed. AulaViva processes student data to provide and support the educational services requested by the school.
How is student information used?
Student information is used only to provide, operate, support, secure, and improve the platform for authorized educational purposes. We do not use student personal information for targeted advertising, and requests involving student records may need to come through the school, district, educator, parent, or guardian with authority to make the request.
What about children under 13?
When AulaViva is used by or through a school, district, or educator for educational purposes, the school may provide authorization for students under 13 to use the platform where permitted by law. In those situations, AulaViva processes student information only to provide and support the educational services requested by the school or educator.
What security and reliability practices do you follow?
AulaViva uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. Like any online platform, temporary interruptions or third-party service outages can occur, and users should keep copies of important materials rather than relying on the platform as the sole storage location for critical records.
Can schools request privacy help, deletion, or more information?
